1. Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a display name. When you set up your profile, you may choose to provide:
- Drag persona name, bio, and profile photo or avatar
- City and location to enable local discovery
- Style tags, role (performer, aspiring, fan), and mentorship preferences
- Social links, booking, and tip links you choose to share
We also collect content you post (photos, videos, captions, comments, events) and activity data such as follows, likes, and messages.
2. Location Information
We use your device location only when you choose to auto-detect your city during onboarding or profile setup. Location is used to power local discovery of performers and events. We do not track your continuous location in the background.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and display your profile, show you relevant performers and events, enable messaging and community features, provide safety and moderation tools, and improve the app.
4. How We Share Your Information
Your profile and posts are visible to other Dragqueenz users as part of the community. We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the app, or when required by law or to protect safety.
5. Messages
Direct messages are used to connect you with other users. Message content is stored to deliver and display your conversations and is not used to serve ads.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your profile and associated content.
7. Your Privacy Rights
You can edit your profile information at any time. You can control your visibility, block users, and delete your account. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data — contact us via the Support page.
8. Children's Privacy
Dragqueenz is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links
Profiles may contain links to third-party services (social media, payment apps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
